WREATH
LAYING AT AMAR JAWAN JYOTI INDIA GATE- 25 SEP 2013
This major event
of paying homage to our departed comrades was conducted with full military
ethos on 25 Sep 2013. Wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti on behalf of all Veterans was
laid by Lt Gen Balbir Singh, PVSM, VSM** President IESL. On the occasion we had
a large number of Veterans (15 Officers and 50 JCOs/Ors) of the Three Services
who graced the occasion. It was an impressive ceremony with full decorum and
panache. The ceremony was watched and admired with awe by a large number of
civilians, who witnessed the show. After
the function at Amar Jwan Jyoti the Veterans joined at IESL HQ for a cup of tea
where discussions on service life and reminiscences were exchanged. Photographs taken on the ocassion are reproduced below.
