Meeting with Quarter Master General

1.         Lt Gen Balbir Singh,  PVSM, VSM**, President IESL along with Col K S Yadav, SM Gen Secy met Quarter Master General (QMG) on 24 Sep 2013 at 12:30 hrs. The Meeting was very fruitful. QMG assured his full support to Defence Veterans fraternity.

 2.         The following points were discussed in the meeting:

(a)                VAT

(b)               Accn for IESL in cantonments- Delhi

(c)                Mobile CSD Canteen

(d)               Procedure for purchase of Car through CSD should be as it was earlier.

(e)                Share of Canteen profit.

(f)                Hony Capt/Lt should be allowed to buy items from Offrs counter in CSD Canteens where there is no separate JCO’s counter.

(g)               A separate counter for JCos in CSD Canteens where the strength of JCOs in substantial.

3.       QMG promised to consider the cases at the earliest.
